Job Description
Whole Foods Market is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Global Operational Finance team in Austin, Texas. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
• Support the regional and global accounting teams with operational/financial reporting and analysis, including report development and analysis of various operational initiatives
• Provide regional and global support for the periodic rolling forecast process
• Support periodic operational/financial reporting
• Preparation of weekly Flash Sales reporting and analysis
• Partner with Information Systems team on various projects impacting operational accounting
• Assist with administrative maintenance for financial applications (OutlookSoft/BPC, PeopleSoft/nVision, & Essbase)
• Provide training & support for various financial reporting systems to regional & global accounting/finance teams
• Partner/assist various global teams with analytical and data maintenance issues
• Perform miscellaneous ad-hoc analysis as needed
• Complete periodic census reports

Skills Required:
• Between 2 to 5 years of financial accounting/analysis experience
• Financial report development experience a must
• Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
• Experience with OutlookSoft/BPC software a plus
• Peoplesoft/nVision ERP experience a plus
• Budgeting/Forecasting experience preferred
• Bachelors degree, Finance or Accounting
• Ability to understand complex technical (IT) and accounting issues
• Microsoft Office experience, including superior Excel skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels in an organization
• Good organizational skills a must
• Ability to effectively manage change and thrive in an evolving organizational structure
• Ability to manage a wide array of tasks and projects simultaneously
• Ability to manage job priorities and work independently as needed
• Local candidates preferred
