We are looking for a baker to join us in Family Fresh Market in Hudson, WI to perform bakery functions such as baking, and finishing on one or more bakery products.
Duties (not inclusive):
• Implements G.R.E.A.T. Service program to the fullest extent.
• Participates fully in the REWARDS and Shrink Awareness programs.
• Maintains productivity level at or above company standards.
• Practices courteous, friendly customer service at all times.
• Possesses sufficient knowledge of the bakery operation including, but not limited to, product preparation, packaging and merchandising.
• Performs bakery functions such as baking and finishing on one or more bakery items as directed by the Bakery Manager and according to standard procedures.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area, performing any cleaning duties as directed by the Bakery Manager.
• Maintains bakery cases, shelves and other applicable displays.
• Is knowledgeable of requirements of government regulatory agencies as they relate to bakery sanitation.
• Uses and maintains bakery equipment properly and safely at all times to avoid injury and to protect the investment of the Company.
• Is capable of producing high quality products in a fast and efficient manner.
Requirements:
• Previous bakery experience helpful.
• Good customer service skills necessary.
• General Hours: 4 a.m. – 12 p.m.; availability must be any day of the week.
• Regularly required to sit; stand; and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
• Must frequently walk, talk or hear, and reach with the hands and arms; occasionally, the associate must crouch or kneel.
• Must be able to climb a ladder to retrieve items stored in elevated or overhead racks or shelves located above refrigerated boxes, in stockrooms and other storage areas.
• Must be able to sweep and mop floors, dust and face shelves, and lift and carry out trash containers to be emptied in an outside bin.
• Must have sufficient memory retention skills to memorize weekly ad prices and specials.
• Must occasionally exert or lift up to 70 pounds carrying bulk containers of flour, sugar, lard and other materials and frequently lift moderate amounts of weight.
