Job Description
Regional Operator is searching for experienced supermarket Store Managers.
Essential Responsibilities: • Exhibits, coaches & reinforces world class customer service at all times. • Works with all departments to ensure & maintain appropriate functioning of entire store operations according to company standards. • Exhibits, coaches & encourages high standards of ethics, honesty, trust, accountability & respect. • Hires, trains, supervises & develops Key & Department Management staff. • Appropriately delegates the hiring, training, supervision & development of Store staff. • Manages store financials & is accountable for the total store in Profit & Loss. • Oversees & maintains protection & safety of customers, staff, equipment, facility & other company assets. • Appropriately delegates supervision of Store Support staff. • Implements new Company and/or Store initiatives in a timely & appropriate manner
Requirements: • Previous successful completion of Assistant Store Director training program or equivalent experience in a related area required. • Minimum of 4-5 years experience managing a fast-paced, high volume retail food establishment, including previous successful management of a product department, preferably Grocery (but not required). • Must have demonstrated ability to effectively build & create customer loyalty. • Must have demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task, including organizational, prioritization & delegation skills. • Must be able to interpret & follow directions, problem solve, make decisions and be accountable for all actions. • Effective communication skills required (including listening and or speaking/writing) with customers and all levels of company staff. calculating discounts, interest, margin, percentage, etc. •
