The Catering Manager will be responsible for the total operations of the catering department and it's financial results. This position reports to the Food Service Director.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for selling catering products for special events throughout the store and community
• Effectively promote catering services/products provided by Central Market to maximize sales
• Ensures that all company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met
• Works to achieve set department budget that contributes to the stores long range goals
• Works with sales personnel to generate new business and maintain current client relations
• Ensure highest level of quality and presentation in products and services
• Works with Chef to plan menus
• Responsible for employment interviews, performance appraisals and partner feedback.
• Trains and develops partners
• Responsible for writing departmental schedules
• Provide superlative customer service

 Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in a Catering environment
• Ability to develop and deliver sound recommendations
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency on HEB systems (XPTR, IMS, CICS2)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
