Job Description
As a member of our Whole Body retail team, your role will include setting and maintaining attractive Whole Body displays and supporting the regional Whole Body vision. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Duties:
Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks great at all times. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, quality products and service.
Communicate to customers the principles of structure/function by explaining how certain products affect the structure or function of the body.
Log customers’ special orders, and retrieve special orders for customers by request, and offer service out to their car.
Attend all staff training seminars.
Maintains correct department signage and pricing.
Understand why our products are different than conventional stores, and be able to explain to customers.
Package, weigh, and price all merchandise.
Ensures that all shelves and displays are properly stocked and front-facing.
Maintain back stock in good order.
Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
Operates and sanitizes all Whole Body equipment in a safe and proper manner.
Answers department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Whole Body Team Leader (Department Manager), Associate Team Leader (Assistant Department Manager), or Supervisor.
Requirements:

Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
Willingness to evaluate all products offered in the department.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and products.
Effective time management skills.
Strong work ethic and integrity.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders
Use of box cutters.
Use of electric pallet jacks or other heavy machinery.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted and able to push and pull carts with product weighing up to 100 pounds.
Able to answer customer questions in a clear and service-oriented manner.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights and weekends as required.
