Job Description
You will assist in ensuring a positive lasting impression for our customer’s shopping experience by performing all customer service functions according to established procedures. Your role will include assisting customers during the checkout process by bagging groceries, retrieving carts, and keeping carts neatly arranged. Additionally you will work to maintain attractive Customer Service displays and supporting the regional Customer Service vision. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Duties:

Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks great at all times. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service.

Provide courteous customer service; greet each customer with friendly eye contact and individually thank them for their business.

Carefully bag groceries and offer carry out service.

Retrieve, organize, and clean carts/baskets as needed or directed by Customer Service leadership

Perform price checks as needed and restock returned/abandoned product in a timely manner.

Support national, regional, and store programs.

Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.

Respond promptly to customer needs and questions and request assistance when necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Team Leader (Department Manager), Associate Team Leader (Assistant Department Manager), or Supervisor.

Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and procedures

Ability to understand customer needs

Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership

Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
