Job Description
As a Whole Body Team member of our Whole Body team, your role may include ordering, replenishing, and merchandising Whole Body products. You will have an opportunity to explain the structure and function of our product selection, and will be empowered to attend various trainings from vendors and suppliers so that you can learn more about this exciting area. Additionally you will work to maintain attractive Whole Body displays and supporting the regional Whole Body vision. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Duties:
Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks great at all times. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service.
Stock all Whole Body products, maintaining neat and organized back stock.
Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking product.
Complete tracking worksheets as required.
Attend trainings made available and utilize all learning checklists and training materials.
Keep the Whole Body department clean, sweep floors and maintain sweep logs.
Maintain all Good Organic guidelines.
Control spoilage/shrink; achieve turn goals; participate in monthly inventory.
Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
Operate and sanitize all Whole Body equipment in a safe and proper manner.
Answers department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Whole Body Team Member.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Whole Body Team Leader (Department Manager), Associate Team Leader (Assistant Department Manager), or Supervisor.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Whole Body products.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Ability to sell proactively and communicate effectively with customers.
Desire to grow and advance with the Whole Body Team
Capable of teaching others in a constructive and positive manner.
A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and products.
Effective time management skills.
Strong work ethic and integrity.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted and able to push and pull carts with product weighing up to 100 pounds.
Use of box cutters.
Use of electric pallet jacks or other heavy machinery.
