Job Description
As a Cash Up Team Member, you will be responsible for an effective and efficient operation of Cash Up procedures including receiving, reconciling and settling all forms of tender in the store (i.e. cash, coupons, electronic funds). Cash Up TM also balances and maintains the safes and the change fund for the Customer Service team and is responsible for maintaining regional standards. This position will be required to assist the Store Accountant with data entry of invoices, etc. as needed. This position reports to the Associate Store Team Leader in charge of the Administrative Team with oversight by Store Leadership and Regional Accounting.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
1. Reconcile cashier drawers daily
2. Prepare cashier loan bags daily
3. Prepare cash and check deposits daily
4. Prepare loan drawer for Customer Service
5. Monitor daily productivity reports
6. Verify EOD reports, cashier pickups and safe balance
7. Monitor change levels and order change
8. Monitor and reconcile all tenders (i.e. credit cards, checks, etc.)
9. Monitor and reconcile all other non-cash items (i.e. scrip, coupons, promos, etc.)
10. Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
11. Practice courteous and proper etiquette when answering phones and pages
12. Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
13. Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes
14. Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment
15. Perform other duties as assigned by Store Team Leader, Associate Store Team Leader, Supervisor and Regional Leadership

1. Cash handling experience
2. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
3. Strong communication skills and attention to detail
4. Ability to meet deadlines
5. Extensive knowledge of Cash Up procedures and policies
6. Strong organizational skills; basic computer skills
7. Capable of teaching others in a constructive and positive manner
8. Ability to perform physical requirements of position
9. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
