Deli/Bakery Sales Manager
As a Deli/Bakery Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Direct daily operation of the Deli/Bakery to ensure that Food Lion customer service standards are met.
• Sales, profits, and direct authority over associates of the Deli/Bakery Department.
• Serves as a role model for customer service and other vital behaviors, and instills this value to all associates.
• Maintaining a friendly selling approach to customers.
• Effectively executes all sales plans.
• Develop and carry out special promotions.
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with Food Lion policy.
• Maintain a correct price list and ensures correct pricing is displayed.
• Ensure proper rotation of product.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary department at all times.
• Control shrink.
• Develop and maintain a competent, enthusiastic, and courteous department organization through training, supervision, and delegation of responsibilities.
• Inventory department and maintain required records and reports. • Use the in-store computer and scan system.
• Ensure proper maintenance, care, and use of all Deli/Bakery equipment and property.
Job Requirements:
• Must be able to analyze situations, identify problems, and implement solutions.
• Reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Move equipment or product (on wheels) weighing up to 1350 pounds.
• Meet production standards established by Food Lion.
