Job Description
MARKETING AND RETAIL SALES PROMOTIONS MANAGER Make a impact! We are seeking an experienced retail sales and marketing professional with a track record of success in the corporate sponsorship arena and familiarity with the retail grocery environment to oversee marketing and sales promotion programs for our member retailers. Affiliated Foods Midwest Cooperative is the 9th largest wholesale grocery coop in US!
The primary job focus is to contribute to the development and implementation of AFMW’s marketing and sales promotion strategies -coordinating with our Merchandising and Procurement, Retail Development and Advertising teams to provide exceptional advertising and promotional programs for our retail customers.
Requirements: The right candidate will have a strong working knowledge of retail advertising, marketing and sales promotion and be a pro-active team player, strategic thinker, and possess superior verbal and written communication skills. Will need a proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, familiarity with all media publications and a minimum of 5 years experience in wholesale level sales and marketing preferred.
