Job Description
Position: Meat Market Manager
We are looking for an experienced Meat Market Manager for a high volume supermarket in the Forest Park area only.
Experience should include people management, meat cutting skills, service and self service and seafood case management, training, retail price management, gross profit management and promotional merchandising. Candidate should have experience in building sales and promotional activity as well as maintaining solid profit and expense levels. Must be customer and associate oriented with a genuine desire to satisfy our customers.
Job Requirements: Successfully managed (or assistant department manager) a high volume Meat Department within a grocery store. Must have solid meat cutting skills as well as well defined skills in merchandising, presentation, promotions, labor scheduling and inventory and gross profit management. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and have outstanding customer skills.
Applicant should be energetic, a self starter and mature in your application of policies and procedures. Willing to learn as well as teach to develop a real department team and to help the store excel in sales, profits and customer service.
High volume supermarket.
Salary plus bonus position.
