Job Description
REQUIREMENTS: •Experience in retail management including significant experience in store operations from perishables to grocery. •Demonstrated interest in and commitment to the retail food business. Up to date knowledge of the retail food business. •Ability to maximize productivity and profitability. •Ability to analyze financial data. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Solid decision making abilities. •Experience recruiting, motivating and developing people. •Experience as an assistant manager or co-manager. •High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Ensure a customer focused shopping environment where prompt and courteous service is a passion. •Responsible for all aspects of store operations including financial results. •Plan, organize and direct store activities and operations with the assistance of Department Managers. •Ensure the store meets targeted projections and goals through the effective utilization of personnel and available resources. •Build a strong team; create strong morale and a feeling of team belonging. •Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company policies and procedures. •Other responsibilities as required.
