The Coulee Region Organic Producer Pool (C.R.O.P.P.), headquartered in La Farge (Southwestern Wisconsin) is one of the country’s most successful cooperatives for production, processing, and distribution of organic foods. C.R.O.P.P. began in 1988 when a small group of sustainable farmers sought to market produce collectively. The cooperative now provides vegetables, eggs, and meat for a regional market and dairy and cheese products for a national market (all 50 states)
