- Bayview Thriftway is one of only two locally owned, independent supermarkets in Thurston County, both owned and operated by the Stormans family. Ralph's Thriftway, located just east of downtown Olympia, is the other Stormans' store. The Stormans were born and raised in this community and still make their homes here. Because we are committed to this area, we believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to return profits to the local community in as many ways as possible.
