- Dan Carr co-founded CDI out of college in 1981. The company’s initial offering was Microshop, a Manufacturing Controls ERP system. CDI expanded to include wholesale hardware sales with a host of related set-up and repair services. Over time, CDI became a reseller of many new and exciting products including FACTS, an Inventory Control software for warehouse distributors, Made2Manage, a GUI Manufacturing ERP application, and a host of 3rd party add-ons for these products. CDI acquired the rights to a repetitive manufacturing system known as The Monitor Factory Management System. This allowed for the development of this ERP system in-house at CDI. Looking to the future, CDI plans to continue it’s aggressive growth strategy. The investigation of new technologies and research and development of application features continues at a rapid pace. As always, CDI will continue to stress superior customer service, and employ a labor force committed to satisfying customers.
