- Arthur Sarnow Candy Company was founded by Arthur Sarnow in 1935. Arthur was the first person to sell candy in theatres as he walked up and down the aisles of Brooklyn theatres. Still to this day, Arthur is known to be the first concessionaire in the theatre industry. Over the past 69 years, Sarnow has moved it’s operation several times, each time to a significantly larger facility. The current facility is a custom built 113,000 state-of-the-art facility that houses the distribution center, sales offices, and corporate offices. This facility handles dry and frozen products. Our fleet of trucks, tractor trailers and vans supply Theatres, Vendors, Office Coffee Service, Video Stores, Foodservice accounts and various other accounts. Our customer service team is dedicated to providing you with a full line of the products you need and providing you with outstanding service.
